I do like a bit of a thriller to read and at first glance, this one looks like it has all the components for an engrossing story. However, I wasn't that struck by the cover design. It's a bit dark and dull and does nothing to grab my attention, so if I was faced with this in a book shop I probably wouldn't pick it up off the shelf.
