I absolutely loved Catherine Ryan Howard's book 'Rewind'! The language, the plot, the pacing and the suspense were all superb. I literally couldn't put it down.
The way in which the story jumped forwards and backwards in time focusing on different characters to fill in the background of the brutal and disturbing murder we are shown in the first pages of the book was thrilling and gave just enough details to keep the reader on the case without making it too easy to guess all of the details of the ending.
The short, snappy chapters packed full of cliff-hangers and red-herrings made this a must read for any lovers of crime thrillers. The characters were expertly written and perfectly plausible, many of them likable and easy to relate to.
This was the first of Catherine Ryan Howard's books that I have read but I will certainly be reading her previous and upcoming novels and would recommend them to anyone looking for a well written mystery thriller!
