It says something when you get given a free copy to review, accidentally leave it at work on Friday and are so caught up in the story you have to BUY it because you can't stand not knowing what happens over the weekend!
Rewind is everything a good thriller should be, with complex intelligent characters, shock twists and cliffhangers a-plenty! I loved the social media element of the book and although shocking the plot was perfectly believable, adding to the creep factor.
Although there is talk of child abuse and paedophilia it was done in a sensitive and intelligent way without being overly graphic. Normally anything involving those topics instantly puts me off, but it was integral to the book and the author navigated this minefield well.
I can't wait to read her next book!
