I loved this. It was totally different to anything i had read before. The setting was brilliant and really atmospheric as well. The characters were so well developed. This was hilarious for the most part but also a fascinating novel that attempts reconcile modern Asia with the traditions of the past in a way that is totally believe and honest. Its chick-lit with a definite bite to it. I really enjoyed the whole “slingish” writing to this as well, like i said, totally different to most books that i have ever read in the past. I would highly recommend this to anyone, no matter what kind of books or genres you read or have ever read before. This is definitely a worth while journey to take!!!!!!
