This was a well written and very easy to read book. Quite emotive, definitely tugged on the heart strings and points and you really felt connected with the characters. They really came off the page and came to life! It was enjoyable and as I said, it was an easy read. I got through this one quickly enough. But I just have to admit, it wasn't entirely my cup of tea. Absolutely nothing wrong with it (again, well written, nice story, excellent character development) but just not the kind of book I would reach for in a hook shop or grab off the book shelf. I am definitely more of a thriller, crime, suspense kinda girl. They would always be top of my list. But if you are looking for an easy read to pass the time in lockdown and escape the real world for a little while, then it is definitely worth giving this one ago. You will enjoy it and it will certainly pass the time!
