Love Love Loved this book . Its everything I want when I read a book - heart warming , uplifting and made me shed a few tears but in a lovely way! Its a novel about friendships and love and the ways that you can be kind to people - sometimes the smallest gestures make the biggest impact that you may be unaware of.
Missy is 79 and lives on her own - she has no regrets to the life that she has lived but she is lonely only she doesn't really realise this. Her son lives in Australia with her 7 year old grandson , she also has a daughter but a you read the book you realise that they aren't close. She meets a couple of women whilst in the park and develops a friendship with them and this is when Missy's life takes a turn for the better . As the story progresses you hear her backstory about her husband and the life she has lead. I found this to be a very emotional book and left me thinking a lot about Missy.
