This is the story of Missy Carmichael, a very lonely yet to the world anti social character.
Though rather reserved Missy finds herself accosted by two very different ladies in the local park whilst out on a walk.
Those two ladies are the new lifeline in her life and are the way that Missy rejoins a social world that she thought was behind her.
So used to her own company she struggles to accept the attentions of Sylvie and Angela but ever so slowly she learns to trust but can she ever fully live?
Is she brave enough to embrace the positive changes these ladies can give her or will she just slip back into her own comfort zone again?
This was such a lovely, story with a strong message extolling the virtues of human friendships and big changes at absolutely any age.
I adored the characters and Missy was quirky, relatable and sadly an all too common representation of society today as a whole of how when you reach a certain age you can easily be overlooked.
