Brilliant book!
it's a classic straight forward plot but it is so in depth and it had you page turning throughout the whole book. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't pick up immediately and it does take a while but it is so worth it.
What i absolutely loved about the book was how it is so character driven, with both Ben and Shadow Man both having detailed back stories.
You got so drawn into their lives, characters, stories, that you felt alot of emotion all the way through.
Strong characterisation! This what makes it stand out from others in this genre.
I found the book was abit different to the description on the book, but that's not in a bad way, i loved it more!
Also, it was a lovely cover.
