My first thought was "that's such a awesome cover!" so I was naturally inclined to check out the first look.
However I soon realized that this is the second book in a trilogy, and of course, it's not one I've read. This gave me a conflicted view on reading the excerpt.
Despite this, I did read it and it had a good concept and story line. The characters where really well written and thought out.
(If I had read the first one, I would definitely have opted in for this one.)
