Sarah Franklin captures the essence of war extremely well in her tale of love amid coming to terms with the aftermath of conflict. I loved how she set up the individual stories of Connie and Seppe, which makes their coming together so much more powerful and enthralling. I want to find out if the pair can make it through the atrocities of war together, and what their future holds!
