A great read
I really liked this autobiography a lot. It was really interesting to see Michael Emmets life from a young child to becoming a criminal and then his path of redemption to become a better man through his encounters with God and Christianity.
The story begins, by showing Michaels parents life before his birth. His father had a life of cime, which Michael was born into and therefore influenced by. Michael had a hard life at a young age being abused by his babysitter, which traumatised him for life, leading him to doubt his self worth.
The story follows Michael from a baby to a young adult and shows how is actions eventually lead him to becoming a criminal. We see Michael coming in and out of prison and his path to becoming a better man through religion.
This is not be usually kind of read but I'm glad I read it as I thoroughly enjoyed it. The book is very honest and shows how the path of crime can impact those around you as well as yourself.
