After reading the first impression of this book I was really pleased when I won a copy from Readers First, as the first few chapters I had read had been really good, and very interesting.
However having read the whole book I was disappointed by the second half of it.
I really enjoyed reading about Michael's childhood and how he got involved in the criminal underworld if London, and how he became a career criminal.
The second half of the book seemed disjointed and didn't seem to flow as well as the first half. It was like reading loads of anecdotes that Michael had remembered, but in no particular order or theme. This was such a shame especially as the book is meant to be about how he became a Christian and turned his life around and I felt that there wasn't as much detail about this part of his life as there had been in his earlier life.
Michael's story is still interesting especially the parts about his life as a criminal but overall I did feel let down by the book.
