This raw and honest memoir written by Michael Emmett provides a real page account of his childhood and his criminal past. The book details all the struggles and how he overcame them to become who he is today.

I did enjoy reading this, i found the stories of his crimes and the tales of his times in prison fascinating. It also has a lot of sadness, when he lost relationships with his daughters and friends through things he had done and how he has tried to reconcile them. How he dealt with his brothers death was heartbreaking to read. He is very honest and it's refreshing to read how he turned his life around.

I had never heard of Michael Emmett before reading his story but i'm glad i got the chance to read his fascinating life. The chapters were really easy to read through and i didn't want to put it down without finishing it. I would recommend to anyone who loves memoirs.
