This is a book that will easily earn 2, 3, or 4 stars because it would cater to the majority of people who read it. Some, on the other hand, would find Michael's words and experiences resonating with them and moving their hearts. For them, five stars would not be enough to express how much this book has affected them. For me, the challenge is that it is a haphazard series of events. The stories themselves, however, are gripping and provide a unique perspective on the poor and notoriously bad. Emmett's sincerity impressed me the most, but I realise that he can't say everyone because his life of crime was too dark and entangled with some serious villains.Although he may have had to change certain things or hold off on full participation from all parties, he never shies away from his own responsibility and the impact it had on his family and everyone he cared for. The miracle of his story is that, despite the fact that he deserved the full force of the criminal justice system, he never realised how much he needed God's unconditional love through Jesus Christ.Michael is a blessing in this autobiography, and I pray that through his ministry, you can find a complete and bright 5 star read and a life altering book inside these pages.
