This insightful book by Michael Emmett is in parts genuinely like something out of a Hollywood movie (and still could be in my opinion but then again has been done so many times!) Brutally honest throughout, this book runs like a man trying to get a lot off his chest and mind and it is a lesson for all that no matter how far down a particular road one's life has travelled there is always a way to change and completely change track. From one extreme to another would be about the understatement of the millennium in Michael's case.

In parts it glorifies the actions of criminal friends, it indicates the positives that leading such a life can bring. I definitely think this book would appeal to those interested in crime of this nature and of this era (although again there are so many books available perhaps better than this one on the subject). I feel this offering will appeal to those involved in criminal activity who wish to turn their lives around.

It is genuinely believable that Michael found God while in prison and offers hope for others. I found it very interesting the way he used the word 'naughty' to describe the horrific crimes that were committed, is this his way of downplaying the severity of them or coping with their consequences? It's up to the reader to decide!
