This book is well worth a read. Michael Emmet has had quite the journey so far, and is living proof that the bright light on the road to Damascas is only the start of the journey.

I was brought to tears at times when reading, the death of Michaels father really affected me. Reading how he turned his life around and continues to do so was inspiring and the emphasis on continuing to do so is something that he really drives home at the end. He doesn't turn things around and that's that, he keeps working at things and has slip ups and makes mistakes, but he keeps going, a message I think we could all do with remembing in these difficult times. It's a book about endurance, weathering internal storms and trying to be better. I'm so glad I read this book.
