Sins of Fathers was a gripping book right from the first page! Michael Emmett involves the reader throughout the book with his engaging writing style.

I never lost interest and genuinely enjoyed learning all about the life of Michael Emmett from his troubled childhood, adolescence and learn about his journey to where he is today.

It taught me that whilst yes, Michael was a criminal, he learnt to live with his demons, work on himself and others to try and put right what he had done wrong and with the people that mattered the most in his life.

The book was separated by small-ish and engaging chapters and found I was reading 2 or 3 chapters at a time as I did not want to put it down. Whilst I am not a religious person the religious aspects of this book did not put me off at all, I just learning all about other people and how they deal with certain events in their lives.

I would happily recommend this book to others who love non-fiction and autobiographical books as well as those who enjoy a bit of suspense. If Michael Emmett wrote another book I would be interested in picking it up for sure!
