From the first chapter the book had me hooked starting with the main character Anna being in a terrible accident and the repercussions from it. Resulting in her wanting a fresh start in a remote Scottish island pretty much as far away from her old life as possible.
From this point i found myself falling for the red herrings of seeing nearly each of the characters as the culprit as we learn more about the each characters backgrounds and reasons for wanting to escape from their lives.
Although when it got to the end i was a little let down by the reveal as i felt compared to the rest of the book where the other characters were explored it was a bit rushed.
Overall i really enjoyed the book and i look forward to reading more books by C.L Taylor
