I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it did have all the components of a good page turning thriller.
It started with the accident, this was described really well. Anna - the main character hugely struggles with her actions, and never really shakes off the guilt that consumes her. She takes a job in a hotel on the Island of Rum, a remote part of the Scottish Highlands where someone is clearly trying to kill her.
The remaining characters in the hotel are in the main, a little dull... they all have a story but I got a little bored with the stroppy teenager and the angry man - too stereotypical for me.
I did however enjoy the twist at the very very end, it was surprising and a great way to finish the story - may even have a follow up book ?
