After a gripping opening page the story had a bit of a slow start whilst building up the character of Anna, but once the story got started I couldn't put it down. Anna was such a brilliant character that you were rooting for during the whole story. Having read the whole book, I can confidently say that I had no idea who did it until the very end!
When the characters got to the hotel and the storm hit it really gave scope to explore the individual personalities of the residents of the hotel, discovering each of their secrets as the story progressed. As you got pulled deeper into the storyline you began to question the motives of each character keeping you constantly on your toes.
This is a brilliant book and after reading this I will definitely be reading more of C L Taylor's books!
