I decided to read this book as I was very interested by the concept presented on the book cover. Sleeping with a psychopath gives a perfect insight into how life is like for an ordinary person being associated with a psychopath, whose thoughts and actions a normal person wouldn't ever be able to fathom. I did go into this book with quite high expectations and I am thrilled to say my expectations were definitely met if not exceeded. It was very eye opening to discover the heinous crimes Mark had committed and although it did not greatly affect him, it did have major impacts on Carolyn, involving her personal relations with family and friends as well as affecting her financially and taking a toll on her mental health. I believe this story highlighted a lot of issues that are not usually spoken about. I was very interested to see how this story would present itself as I learnt of the stories, secrets lies and everything else that was included in this amazing book. Overall a great book and one I would definitely recommend to others. :)
