This was narrated by Carolyn Woods herself and was her true account of what had happened. This was really sad book interesting because you could see a first-hand account of a survivor of not only a con, but deep emotional and psychological abuse. You got to experience her emotions and distress and pain.
One thing I liked about this book was that it felt like fiction but was actually based on a true story and the true events of what happened to the author.
I felt like I warned to the author and really understood the pain she went through and it was a sad story to read because it’s true.
I would highly recommend this book.
