I wasn’t entirely sure about this book overall, I mean it was a fascinating story and it’s so so hard to believe that it’s all real but it just felt so naive and unconvincing to me, which probably sound harsh but it was really really difficult to read. I found it hard to believe one person could be so gullible to ridiculous claims of being a high flying mega rich super spy and when the handing over of money and things came into play I just felt myself getting more and more annoyed by it. Don’t get me wrong I appreciate that this is one persons experience and you can really tell it’s affected her and her life, it does give you a crazy whirlwind of emotions where at the start you feel for her a lot but doing through all the things she believed it makes it very very hard to continue to believe she fell for it every time. I was lucky enough to read this on Netgalley so was happy I got to read it as it sounded right up my street but I just felt disappointed.
