Just from reading the over all analysis I know I would love to read the whole book and I hopefully can soon!!! It feels like my type of comfort read as described, "a startling, honest, laugh and cry novel about growing up." Yep, we all know growing up has it's ups and downs and unfortunately Debbie's going to experience some to as she struggles to cope with the weirdest, most difficult parts of herself, her family and her small life." Yep... I can relate
This novel is definitely suited for a generation, our generation.
I like the cover it has a simple silhouette of Debbie sitting with her back to us on block orange ledge with block turquoise, a title and author- yay no quotes or ratings and reviews over it (I know they are great things but I hate when they are on book covers I think it takes away from the cover design). A nice chill cover you know.
