I'd like to start with how the title, together with the beautifully created cover page, entices and urges the reader to open the book!!!!!!!!!!
Beautifully written and linked with current happenings on a partitioned island as well as the larger subject of people migrating across the Mediterranean.
This is a well-written work that makes you consider the destinies of people who are less fortunate than ourselves and how some judgments must be made. This novel was a wonderful summer read for me, and it was a guilty pleasure. It comes highly recommended. The characters are well-developed and grow in likeability as the storey progresses. Some of the book's events are rather predictable. This didn't bother me because it didn't detract from the tale.
I can see how this book covers contrast with the second book written by thee author, Christly Lefteri.
