THIS BOOK!
WOW! This is another gorgeous book written by Christy Lefteri. After reading The Beekeeper of Aleppo, I just knew that this book was going to be stunning. Stunning is definitely one way I would describe any of her books. It's a genuinely moving novel about vulnerability and loss. It is about a poacher named Yiannis who feels trapped. He marries a woman called Nisha who is a nanny. However one day Nisha disappears and her employer, Petra starts to investigate. As the investigation goes on, more and more secrets about her life unravel and there is more to her life than anyone who knew her knew before. I really appreciate how Lefteri has based this book on a real problem with real people. She always handles these topics exquisitely and I simply adore her for it. It is such a wonderful book, so raw and honest and human. You simply have to see for your self and read it!
