I knew this would be good after reading the beekeeper of Aleppo but this was just another level of brilliance.
The story drew you in with its descriptions of Cyprus and its people. I loved how Niasha really came alive through the writing and how I could picture her - how she lived and the people she loved.
Her story of heartbreak right from being young when losing her sister - to losing her husband and having to leave her daughter to provide for her future.
I did not foresee what happened to Niasha. It left me speechless and emotional. What a book.
There is nothing I would change about this book - it spoke to me on so many levels and just enhanced how much I love this author. I would definately recommend this book and I will be passing it around my friends and family to experience this and enjoy as much as I have.
