My very first impression from the cover was that this was going to be some romcom type thing and i probably wouldn't have even picked it up in a store.
But i am glad i read the blurb as this proves to be nothing of the sort. I am a bit of a geek so am already hooked by the main character being a programmer and the drudgery of her everyday job. I found the bread brothers to be a charming addition and was a little sad to see them go by the end of the extract, hopefully they reappear at some point, they did leave their email address after all.
I definitely would want to read more, and also desperately want to taste this soup and bread that they made, the book should come with the recipe.
