I decided to read the First Impression for this book purely based on the cover. I had guessed that there would be baking involved but it was very different to what I was expecting still. I thought it would probably have a bakery at the heart of the story and for baking to be the main characters talent from the very beginning, but it's got a very different path. Still, I liked the opening.
