I can't tell you how much I adored this one! This series just keeps getting better and better with each book! The world of the medieval is so much bigger, darker and violent the more you read, making you realise just how little you know about them, and the De Warlencourt family.
There isn't a single thing I didn't love about this, the character and plot developments were perfectly executed, incorporating a lost play (The Isle of Dogs) was just genius!! I'm just blown away by all the tiny details throughout, and how they all click together.
I can't reccomend these books enough, they're perfect to read around this time of year too. Seriously, read them and see for yourself. The next book is even better, trust me.
