I don't think I can say much more about this book except that it needed more pace. I really wanted the story to get into the mystery quicker than it did. I thought the set up was good. I love boarding school stories, especially ones with elite groups, dark origins (ala The Secret History) but I think the pace of this book just let everything down for me. Having said that, I did enjoy reading it to an extent. It wasn't by any means a bad book, don't get me wrong. Just for me as a reader, I find pace is such an important element, especially with a mystery novel, so on a personal level, I felt it lacked that. On the whole, a good book that I would recommend to people. Three stars from me, overall.
