This is a jawdropping thriller set in modern day but also in a way, medevil times too. What's really likeable about it straight away is the main character, Greer MacDonald who already has an interesting story, althougvh the real story is just beginning. You instantly feel on her side, with her being sent to a boarding schill where she knew nobody and all. The start of the story is almost too normal, normal unroll it gets to the part where she receives an invitation to Longcross Hall. It all just seems suspicious. As the story goes on, you encounter more twists and turns and awesome descriptions which low key prepare you for the final showdown. Then the aftermath of Henry. The ending left me in awe, wanting more. Definitely one of my favourite books of the year! Does the cliffhanger ending indicate a second book? I really hope so!
