As we have been introduced to STAGS and Greer MacDonald, we meet interesting personalities, for example; Henry, one of the Medievals. Greer is new to STAGS, a ancient school built in the seventh century. She is overwhelmed by almost everything and gets invited to the three blood sports.(Which she has long regretted). But by this horrifying process Greer makes friends with Nel and Shafeen.
Personally I'm not much of a thriller reader but this book gets me gripped in right away! I love the plots and characters (especially Greer) and how the author uses the characters to create an interesting story. Hearing that the sequel to STAGS is almost out, DOGS, I recommend that if you haven't read STAGS yet, get a move on!
