this book demonstrates excellently the divide in class and race in British private schools. the writing style is very interesting and you learn a lot about Greer Macdonald who's perspective you see the scene unravel from. this thriller keeps you on edge for the entire read and I could not put it down! Greer is an excellent representation of most girls in her age group but is a extremely quick thinker. I loved how the friendships between the three guests developed despite them being plotted against each other.
in this book, the writer is very skillful in that they drop nuggets of information throughout the book and towards the end it all comes together. no detail is forgotten and will be referred to again later. for an example, the de warlen court twin cousins of Henry De Warlen Court.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a thriller and a book with twists.
