I really liked the book, however, I was far more interested by all of the details and the mystery bits than the action packed thriller I was expecting. I fell in love with some of the characters, hated others and saw myself in Greer, the main character. That's what tells me this was a good book!! I got lost in the story with Greer. I truly felt like I was at Longcross with them. The ending didn't surprise me but it was jaw dropping. M.A. Bennett paid so much attention to detail! From each movie, animal, sport, tradition, etc. to the contemporary teen stuff like Zoella! She made everything seem so real. Although I would love to visit Longcross (on a different occasion of course), I would much prefer to be 'savage.'
