I've read a little and watched documentaries on the Stasi, the creepy spy-network dominating existence in East Germany but not read any fiction. With the extract we are shown the control of the Stasi, even over a 16 year old girl. I love the cover - you can feel the cold. Really hope I'm lucky to get a copy.
