I really enjoy historical fiction, especially when it is looked at from a different angle. The fact that this starts in Austria before the onset of the Second World War is really interesting to me. I have been interested in German history for a long time (and not just the history surrounding the World Wars), and I’ve read a lot of books both in German and in translation. The synopsis to this book really intrigued me, and I’m curious to see hat the main characters life will be like in Berlin during the war. It just looks like my kind of book, and I’d love to read it!
