Okay so first things first I have to admit the front cover is amazing, it really gives you the essence of a book that has the potential to make you thinks and be enthralled by the story. Secondly, the title. It was so simple but so effective by just using the name "Stella", who is this Stella? A Murderer, a lover, a broken-hearted widow... There is so much room for interpretation right before the story has even began and the pages have even been opened. However, I was quite disappointed to realise it included references to the war time and the rivalries between different races and found myself unable to continue being engaged with the story because I find things like that very unsettling to continue reading. So all in all the set up for the book cover, the title, the actual illustrations involved were fantastic. The story itself was not for me.
