I've read bits and pieces, and although I have not yet finished the book, I have so many reasons why this needs to be one everyone's reading list!
The structure of the book is great. Each chapter is a new month, with a news report. This makes it easy to understand the war timeline, and the news report works well for people who aren't aware of events during the war. Felt like it was a great way to start a chapter, and I liked the clear chronological chapters.
The writing style was pretty easy to get into, it was straight-forward, simple writing that was effective. It was great how facts and fiction were intertwined. There was so many little details that made everything so much better, and the characters were really easy to get to know. Fredreich and stella seemed to contrast to each ither, so it was fun seeing the switch between them.
I loved the book, defo reccomend.
