Wow, just wow!
Firstly, I love fairytale retellings and reimaginings- but I love how this book (minus the prologue) starts with the brutal toe chopping that came from the original fairytale- none of that fluffy Disney style fairytale. The author creates such vivid imagery, that I can not wait to read more! I already give it 5 stars from just this extract!
