This is the second book that I have read by this author and I have really enjoyed reading both. This particular one starts off very well, I found it quite pacy and it quickly drew me in and I became quite invested in the story. In my personal opinion the pace and the intensity of the novel dropped slightly in the middle but picked up again towards the end. This didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the novel however and may just be personal taste. I liked the characters, they were well written and developed. The story has lots of layers to it and there’s a strong plot line to keep you entertained and engaged.
It is definitely a good, enjoyable read that I’d have absolutely no hesitation in recommending if you like books of this genre.
