I really liked the sound of this book and once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. The characters were all complex and you learnt more about them as the story went on. I liked the way there were lots of twists and turns in the story and there were a few points where I gasped out loud.
The story was fresh and was not afraid to take risks which kept me hooked and the ending was amazing and kept me guessing right until he last chapter.
My only criticism is that it was a little slow in the middle but then picked up the pace, it could probably have lost a couple of the chapters in the middle.
Overall I would recommend this for pure escapism and it definitely put me off living in a gated community! It was a great book and I will be passing it on to friends and family to also read and see if they could guess the end. I look forward to reading more from this author.
