A gripping book at first but thought it slowed down resulting in an average read for me. A good story line about about a perfect street of houses and occupants who look out for each other. One night a husband and wife from the street were found dead and their murder was blamed on a girl who previously lived on the street. She already had a bad reputation so it was easy to believe it could have been her, she did own a key after all.....

However she is now free from prison due to a mistrial and is living with her old housemate again in the perfect street but she cannot be trusted, the street do not talk to her, they do not trust her and they still believe she is the killer. Her housemate does not want her either but what can she do, she just turned up on the doorstep and pushed her way in.

But then rumours start and each house owner starts to distrust the other and little truths start appearing about what really happened on the night of the murders. Maybe it wasnt who they all expected at first......
