This book started off quite slow, I felt that the plot was a bit weak at the beginning and nothing was really happening, which was a bit of a shame, because I feel that it had the potential to be very gripping. Despite this I stuck with it, and I’m glad that I did. When I got around half-way through the book I personally found that it started to get better and it became much more interesting. It’s just such a shame that the book had a slow beginning, as I almost gave up reading it.
The writer set the scene extremely well and I was able to vividly imagine the neighbourhood.
This book was well written and the characters were well-developed.
Throughout the book the plot, which I found weak at the beginning became more developed and I was better able to engross myself in the storyline and follow the characters and the story.
