Being in a reading slump in the moment, I have found it rather difficult to engage in any books. However, from this extract, I am truly hooked and this seems exactly like the book I’ve been looking for.This grapples with death- in an almost exciting(?!) way. As Lily experiments with her new body and explores the afterlife, I can tell this story is going to be heartbreaking yet ever so intriguing. The narrative content is so original, standing out from other contemporary tales and it seems absolutely wonderful. This rather reminds me of The Lovely Bones, a book in which I absolutely adore. Also- THE COVER! Wow, I love it! It totally draws me in and even though I know you should never judge a book by its cover, I would definitely buy this if I saw it on the shelves of a shop! I can’t wait to read this!!
