Cat thinks the worst of her father, and she thinks she has an idea about what happened to Maryanne Doyle all those years ago. When a dead girl shows up by her dads pub, she immediately jumps to conclusions, and once again, assumes that her father is up to no good.
This book really surprised me. The author writes in such a way that the reader thinks they know where the story is going. The characters are all brought into the story nicely and I thought I had a good understanding about who the antagonists and protagonists were, so when the truth was revealed, I was very taken aback.
I really liked the way the story played out and joined the story from the past. The way the book goes back and forth from the past and present was a nice touch.
