I found this opening very intriguing and I was left wanting....more, I so want to read the rest of the book! What happened to Maryanne? What does Dad know? The family dynamic is an interesting one and I want to see how that has changed in the future which is hinted at at the end of the extract.
I found the writing easy to read but it captured my imagination! I knew Cat's pain about Geri leaving the Spice Girls - I felt the same when Robbie left Take That!
I love the cover! I have a thing for black backgrounds with colour accents and this really fits the bill!
