I could not put this down, it's very rare that I give a book 5 stars but this was well deserved! Absolutely brilliant from start to finish.
I love historical fiction and this did not let me down. The writing style was fantastic and the plot and characters really did the era it is set in justice. I was so engrossed by this book it made me feel like I was part of the story and not just a reader sitting on my sofa in the year 2018.
I knew this would be the book for me just by looking at the cover, it is so wonderful and captivating. I was so connected to the main characters Nicholas and Bianca and they enticed me from start to finish.
I can't believe that this book is a debut for the author, I literally can't wait to read the next book. Please don't leave it too long!
