When I read the preview of this book I couldn’t wait to read the rest of the story. It was a rollercoaster of a book which at times veered between Indiana Jones and sometimes alien. This is not the genre of book that I usually read, but I did enjoy it. The only criticism that I have is that the story took a while to get going, but it kept me reading as I was eager to find out what was going to happen. The Anomaly was easy to read and the plot was simple to follow, although I felt that the story line was predictable. The character’s interactions were good as they were a disparate group of people each with their own emotional baggage. One of the characters Ken was annoying by referring to the female characters as love and was almost dismissive of them, although he redeemed himself later in the story.
