'The Arc' was a book that I thought would be a good match for me, however I just couldn't get into it. Maybe it's not the right time? I do find this happens sometimes with books - it's just not the right time in your life, or it doesn't match your current reading mood. I'll certainly shelve it and try again one day. I'm a firm believer in, there's a book for every reader, and if a book is not to your liking, then it's bound to be enjoyed by someone else. That's the beauty of reading.
If you're interested The Arc is a relationship book with a difference. Imagine if you could optimise a bespoke relationship via a high tech match-making service? It'll cost you a tidy sum but it might be the answer to your relationship dreams.
Tory Henwood Hoen explores this theme in 'The Arc' where Ursula is matched together with Rafael, but, as expected, this doesn't live up to the expectation of the match-making service...
